Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December 1991. Matthew Matt James is a mixed race child born to Manny James as well as Patty James. Her mother is caucasian and his father Nigerian. After graduating from Sanderson High School, in 2010, he attended Wake Forest University and obtained an Economics Bachelor's Degree. James became famous when his role as a reality TV actor on The Bachelorette. James was picked in the year 2020 as the bachelor of the year on The Bachelor season 25, being the show's initial African American male star. The series premiered later that year. James would be a perfect match for the job as his height, beauty and physique are hilarious. Rachael Krukconnell became his lover at the end of season. In the following year, 2021, he was paired with the renowned dancer Arnold to compete in the season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James along with Arnold took 12th place.
